“I joined this program after briefly looking at the happiness trap pocketbook. My life’s circumstances were then and still are very challenging. My thoughts and emotions were causing me immense pain in my life and I found myself more and more unable to live the way I wanted to or needed to. Fast forward 7 weeks and although its very early days for me on my ACT journey, my experience of life is becoming vastly different. I no longer live my days in my head trying to figure out how to feel better. I’m getting better at getting on with my life and accepting both the challenges and the gifts that I have before me each day. I will be focussing on using these tools numerous times a day from now on and am hopeful about the potential my days hold for me again.
